How often are the Auctions held?
Usually on a Wednesday monthly, please check with us for dates. We are open for viewing at 9.00am, bidding starts at 11.00am.
How do I register?
In the Office complete a registration form and a deposit of £500.00 by Cash or Debit Card. Visa or MasterCard are accepted but are subject to a 3.00% administration fee.
Is my deposit deducted from my invoice?
Yes, if you purchase more than one vehicle it will be held against the last vehicle until payment is made in full.
If I do not purchase a vehicle, can I get my deposit back?
Yes, return to the Office at the end of the auction with your receipt for a full refund or notify the office & we will hold it over to be used at your next auction attendance.
Is there VAT and Duty for the vehicle to pay on top of the hammer price?
No, import VAT & Duty for the vehicle is included in the hammer price.
How much is the buyer’s premium?
£300 including VAT this is added to the hammer price of the vehicle. For Multiple purchases for larger clients this can be negotiated.
How do I become a Member?
Once you have purchased and paid for 5 vehicles you will receive a membership card.
When do I need to pay for the vehicle?
By 4.00pm the Friday following the day of auction. If not then storage will commence at £10 per day.
What form of payment can I make?
Bank draft, Bank Transfer, Cash (Maximum £9000.00) or debit cards. Visa or MasterCard are accepted subject to a 3.00% administration fee. Our Bank details are displayed at reception or available upon request.
What Paperwork do I get once the vehicle has been paid for?
For a UK vehicle you will recieve a V5 along with an MOT if applicable and service history if available. For a Japanese imported vehicle we will give you the Original Japanese De-Registration form and a C&E389 which proves the Import VAT & Duty has been paid on the vehicle.
I have successfully bid on a vehicle, what do I do now?
Go to the Office and collect your invoice(s) which will detail the amount(s) outstanding to be paid. Full payment is required by 4.00pm on the Friday following the auction.
Can we suggest an Insurance company for imports?
Yes, a list is available.

My Japanese Imported vehicle is over 10 years old, what do I need to do to register it?
Once you have fitted a fog light and have had it MOT’d (by chassis number)
Complete a V55/5 form. (Available from major Post Offices)
Send the following documents to the DVLA:
MOT Certificate, Original Japanese De-Registration document, C&E 389 form, proof of purchase, 2 proofs of ID and Original Insurance certificate. You will need to include a cheque payable to DVLA Swansea for £55- first registration fee plus the current Road Vehicle License charge (Road Tax)- Current rates can be found at: https://www.dvla.gov
My Japanese Imported vehicle is under 10 years old, what do I need to do to register it?
Arrange to have the vehicle IVA’d, which incorporates fitting a fog light as well as a Catagory 2 immobiliser and then MOT’d.
Complete a V55/5 form. (Available from major Post Offices)
Send by registered post the following documents to DVLA or take them to your local Office: ESVA Certificate, MOT Certificate, Original Japanese De-Registration document, C&E389 form, proof of purchase 2 proofs of ID and Original Insurance certificate (using the chassis number) Road Tax will also need to be paid at this stage.
